ICCO in Bangladesh. Flooding and other natural disasters are commonplace in Bangladesh. In addition to the constant battle with water, Bangladeshis suffer from a lack of health care, high food prices and poor education. Many women are left behind with their children and no source of income. ICCO, an interfaith organisation for development cooperation, supports local aid projects. For example, women learn how to make a living raising chickens or cows, and children have an opportunity to go to school.
